Tonight begins 4 nights of traditional Khmer song and dance performances for some of the students from Countryside Class. If you're in the area, come to Kampongseyma Pagoda tonight at 7pm to enjoy Countryside Class's 3rd round of performances and their first collaboration with World Vision and Phare Ponleu Selpak.
This year we are extremely grateful to be joined by World Vision's youth club from our village, who will join with our students and will also perform a skit about domestic violence. World Vision also donated funds to provide for a musician and to buy prizes for community members who correctly answer questions about drug abuse and domestic violence. About 20 students from Phare Ponleu Selpak, the famous circus show in Battambang Province will also be joining our students in song and dance as well as performing some of their amazingly talented circus stunts. Thanks also to the support of Ah Poh and Mikey Chong from Malaysia for their consistent support of our school and our performances. They came to Cambodia to join with us for the first night of the performance and have donated to make it possible.
We and all of our students are excited to perform for our community tonight until the 16th, and we hope to see all of you there!
